Capturing everyday moments

Teffa: I’ve been making music for about 17 years now, all this time for hobby purposes only, however I do enjoy creating something, whether it’s a piece of artwork/drawing and of course music, the latter of which helps me express myself and hopefully take some people on a sonic journey with me.

Lauri: I’m Lauri, a photographer and musician from Helsinki, Finland. I spend a lot of time out in the streets, capturing everyday moments with my camera.

What excites you most about photography nowadays?

Lauri: There are a lot of fantastic moments and locations in a city that most people just don’t notice in a rush. I try to capture the best bits of them through my lens and present them in my own way. I shoot mostly on film and love the timeless look that it gives.

Teffa: I feel like these tunes are a great collection of the representation of my work during different years of production, the tunes are different one from another, yet they have a few similarities too such as trying to express raw power of low frequencies with some melodic soundtrack to go along with it and giving tribute to different things that inspire me as dub, jungle music as well as cosmos altogether round up with a nice summery track (Lemon Haze) to celebrate the beauty of the summer season.

Lauri: I listened to Teffa and got some cold but cosy urban vibes. This series is a collection of shots I felt match with that feeling. I hope these shots make you dive deeper to the city. Put your headphones on, take a tram or a metro of your home town, enjoy the photos and listen to Teffa.
